I've been to this Chipotle a few times and it was like every other Chipotle I've been to except they can't ever properly wrap their burritos. They always ask to double wrap or put it in a bowl for me. Very disappointed.

I had a steak burrito and was very pleased with it. Everything looked fresh and the employees were very friendly. It was also busy when we visited but the line moved fast. I asked for guacamole and was told it was an extra charge before the young man placed it on my burrito which I thought was a great thing to do even though I knew it was extra he wanted to make sure so I wouldn't be alarmed by the charge at the register. Sitting area was clean and so was the bathroom which is a big plus for me. All in all a great experience.

It's chipotle. I can always guarantee a fresh meal. Although I read an article recently that shows how many calories you are in fact putting into your body although it's not coming out of a fryer. Now I'm not one for calorie counting, but it's just to make a point that all the burrito, rice and beans are just fillers - and they cheapest items on the menu. A burrito filled with vegetables, a meat, with salsa, corn, sour cream and lettuce - it will leave you satisfied without the heavy, fully overloaded feeling that I first experienced with ordering chipotle. Give it a try. The Chipotle Tabasco is a staple favorite of mine here and at home. You can find it at Walmart if you're looking for it. The lines move quick, super friendly staff. Kept clean and tidy. Good ambience of music, never a let down.

Worst place ever. I can't believe I brought my family here tonight. We will never return.

Two things about this place really grinds my gears. 1. The gentleman rolling the burritos to look like burritos last night on 8/20/2015 at about 6p.m. Should not be doing so if he doesn't know how or care enough to do it properly. He merely tucked all the sides under and wrapped it in what looked like something out of the rocky horror picture show. 2. The fact that you brought old guac out and slapped some new fresh green guac on top doesn't change the fact that it had been made prior to that day. What makes it worse is whoever took it out of the fridge obviously knew it wasn't fresh because they slapped some fresh green creamy guac on top to cover up the grey guac underneath. I cooked and I use avocados every week and know that for guac to turn grey takes at least a full day in the fridge. Living in Cali and understanding chipotles ethics about food and what you're trying to provide and do for the food and farming industry, I'm disappointed. Maybe next time chipotle but, not at this location.

Good fast fresh Mexican food. Seems like the last couple of times I've been here, a few employees looked miserable to be there. Also noticed their portion sizes shrunk a little over the months...maybe it's just who is working the line that day. I asked for lettuce to top off my bowl. I think she gave me 6 shreds...really! Not one of their better locations. But all in all its good and it was fresh.

As mentioned in some of the reviews, the service is not as nice as the food. The one girl's attitude yesterday afternoon spoiled my food =(. I don't need insincere, fake service either- just be respectful! Unfortunately, I will not be going back to this one.

Chipotle is good and this restaurant lives up to the company name. I walked in, said some words with my mouth with belly in mind, and walked out with a burrito which pleased both of the afore mentioned body parts. So... yes.

The manager needs to be kicked right in the balls! That's the bottom line. If I were the owner I would throw him out the door on his lazy kulo. For a place with so many people standing behind the counter doing nothing, it is filthy and I never see anybody cleaning, ever. On several occasions there has not been a clean table in the building. I always eat at off hours to avoid crowds and there is usually 10-15 people eating. It seems to me they should be cleaning up at this time but nope, everyone is standing at the service line. I used to wash my hands before eating but I can't now because the huge collection of boogers on the wall causes me to lose my appetite. I went back in twice thinking it was a fluke (maybe a soccer team thought it would be a good gag) and there is always a massive collection of boogers! Who does this? I can't imagine there is customer on his way in for a burrito thinking he'd lose some nose goblins before dining, or while dining. I would guess it is an employee who thinks its great. Probably the same one who never cleans the bathrooms. Tonight they had no tortillas??? They offered to make burritos in small ones but fearing I would be charged the regular price I declined and went with a bowl. I swear I got the last 10 pieces of steak and the dude looked at me and asked if I wanted more steak. "No thank you, I enjoy being ripped off". I would have said yes but steaks were being grilled and appeared to be nowhere near being done. Finally, stop asking if I still want guac considering it costs extra. Everybody knows you pay for the guac. To summarize all of these issues are managerial fails. If this kind of shit is noticeable imagine what you don't see. The biggest croc is leading people to believe its an upscale eatery by dressing their employees in black shirts an hipster black army hats! Clean up your shitty restaurant! Step1: hire a manager who gives a shit and will do what he is being paid to do. Mark my words (again). "I will never eat here again."

I love Chipotle in any state, city, and country HONESTLY. It is the only place where I can rely on the food to taste exactly the same no matter where I am. In my opinion this is the only establishment in the Patuxent River area that always has plenty of people walking in and out. Other restaurants around the area usually seem to only be serving one or two tables at a time -- or I even find the place empty. I find that the employees are very inflexible here? I know exactly what I want on my Chipotle and have it the same every time. The first employee that you approach always asks "for here or to go" which I kindly respond "to stay" but after several visits to this location, I realized that I should just say "for here" since they don't seem to understand what "to stay" means?!?! They are friendly when it comes to asking for extras like rice, tomatoes and etc. Uhm.. Yeah. I mean there's not much else to say about this location. The food is delicious as always.

Worst Chipotle I've ever eaten at. Been here twice now they can't roll a burrito, mine fell apart at the bottom because it was not wraped correctly. Then there was hair in my girlfriends food, and to make things worse the guacamole was brown in color and tasted awful. Spend your money elsewhere.

let me first say that I love Chipotle. this location however is a disgrace! I've been here twice, never again! while the service is pretty good and the place looks clean, the first time I went I found hair strung length wise in my burrito. the second time the burrito tasted very off, so I opened it up to find blood inside of it. apparently the steak was VERY undercooked. when I called to speak to the manager to warn them about the undercooked meat, instead of being apologetic she immediately got defensive and told me to come back for a new burrito and a free drink... when I went back I changed to a salad and the whole time the manager and 2 other employees were talking about me. since I speak Spanish, I relayed this all back to corporate where I got 4 free meal coupons which I gave out to friends who live no where near me!

Service is terrible. The manager thinks he's funny but he's rude. Their portions are a 1/3 of what you get in Northern VA. They're messy and they don't listen so you have to repeat everything twice. Also the tables are dirty and so are the bathrooms.

Standard Chipotle experience. The staff are friendly and the restaurant was clean. Took the kids for the first time and they really enjoyed it too.

Chipotle, my love, my muse...let me recount the ways in which I love you. The barbacoa...so succulent. The chicken, so flavorful. The steak, so tender...like my affection for you. The carnitas melts my heart when it melts in my mouth. Mmmmmm all natural...no hormones. White rice, brown rice, whatever you want, its got you covered. I have dreams about the glisten of black beans as they gently fall onto the cilantro and lime infused rice. Like any fond love, the relationship always stays spicy with the hot and corn salsa, yet left silky and smooth with a generous helping of cheese and sultry sour cream. I embrace you in the same way the tortilla embraces all the freshly made ingredients. I am a monogamous man and never order chips with my burrito...the burrito is all I need...the burrito is all I desire. Until we meet again, my love, au revoir.

This was my first time out in this part of Maryland, so it was good to see a familiar favorite. While the service at this Chipotle was a little bit slower than what I'm used to, the food was just as good. They even had a few different sauces and salad dressings than what I'm used to. I definitely recommend it!

The food is acceptable but the Waldorf chipotle blows this one out of the water. It's all in the employees.

Always enjoy Chipotle, but I was very disappointed to find out that they don't even offer a discount to military on Veteran's Day, much less a complimentary meal. Poor judgement when the base just down the road is primarily responsible for the economic growth in the area.

I've heard so much about Chipotle and was finally able to try them out. YUMM-O!! I wish we had one back in Montana, but maybe soon. I'll be visiting again whenever I'm in the area!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
